Our Vision

To create a space where:

  • Mothers feel deeply validated in their experience

  • The complexity of motherhood is named, normalised, and honoured

  • Women reconnect with themselves – emotionally and physically

  • Real friendships and support networks are formed

  • Mothers leave feeling more resourced, grounded, and less alone

Who It Is For

  • Mothers within 12 months of birthing

  • In any stage of motherhood (not just first‑time mums)

  • Women who want to feel seen, heard, and supported as people, not just caregivers

  • Mothers who are craving deeper connection and more honest conversations

  • Women who want to invest in their wellbeing, identity, and mothering experience

What is The Flourishing Mama

A 6-week, paid mothers group that places the mother at the centre of care. Unlike many council-run groups that are baby-focused, this group is tailored to:

  • Prioritise the mother’s emotional, psychological, and physical experience

  • Create space for real conversations about motherhood

  • Foster meaningful connection between women who want to invest in themselves and their mothering

  • Support women to leave with not just information, but a village they can lean on

How It Works

  • A facilitated topic led by Rachael or Ashleigh

  • Psychoeducation and/or body‑based education

  • Time for sharing, reflection, and discussion

  • Gentle guidance, validation, and collaborative learning

  • Tea, coffee, and light snacks in a warm, welcoming environment

How It Works

  • The Maternal Body - Postpartum Pelvic Floor Health and Scar Care

  • Who Am I Now? Exploring your identity through Mastrescence
